The carrier shall be responsible for the shipment from the time it is received until it is delivered to the consignee, interrupting this responsibility when the shipment is confiscated by the competent authority or the consignee does not pick it up on the agreed date .
The carrier shall be exempt from liability for loss or damage caused to the shipment in the following cases: a) Due to its own defects, b) Due to improper packaging, c) When the shipment is of its own nature suffer deterioration, partial or total damage, d) When the declarations or instructions of the sender are false, e) For acts of war, strike riots, riots, fortuitous event or force majeure, f) For electrical or magnetic damage, erasure or any Other damage to electronic, photographic or recorded information and images of any kind.
